Hiii everyone!!
If you've followed me on twitter or instagram, you would've known that I wrote about going to uss recently. It was a free trip in because Dan's family won some tickets from a Heaven & Earth contest last year!! We actually planned to pay a few more bucks to get the express tickets but in the end we didn't have to because there weren't alot of people too. So we saved a hell lot of $$$!
Still spent alot of food though.. Like the gluttons we are.

Fiona and Shrek! Yayyy, lucky the queue was short 'cos it was about the rain. (A blessing in disguise really)
The raptor was really scary actually. It reacted like a real dinosaur and kept snapping away at people who wanted to take pictures with it.. I can only manage a few metres away ah.

Met this creepy fella.. Most were trying to avoid him while the brave decides to stand forward and take a picture.

Queuing for the transformers ride was no joke.. But we moved along faster than I expected. The ride was as I remembered. Still it was super fun!
The lighting at different areas was soooo cool. Sometimes purple or even blaring red. Took photos but I guess they came out funny still hahah.
Our lunch at Goldilocks again like last year's. Don't really find it that yummy at all.. and since we're at uss, it's quite pricey also. :(
Don't let these pictures fool you..!! It started raining out of a sudden.. Thought it was only a bit but then it rained until the whole place got flooded and everyone was running for their lives. My shoes were sodden by the time I got out. I hate wet and sticky shoes T.T.
Here's a picture of the three of us! Me, Daniel and his lil brother, Louis. This was the only decent one eh. Both guys don't like to take pictures ;(
BUT OF COURSE!! We didn't let the rain spoil our moods ah. So we were really positive the whole day. Went to get some food to eat since we were starving even after munching down several drumsticks.
I bought this candy from one of the stores over there! Kind of overpriced uh, I think it cost $6.90 or $7.90.. But it is SPECIAL. So I got it :) Elmo's on the candy~
Familiar? I love their hugeass mirror! Perfect to take photos.. If you are thick-skinned enough to ignore the stares of the other customers or if there is nobody there lah :x.
So the rain let out after awhile and we went back to uss to continue our rides.
This year I managed to play both human and cylon after persuading them again and again and again wahahaha. Really love taking these thrill rides!
Remember to drink up lots of water if you're going to a theme park too.
Get it at a nearby supermarket first since drinks sold at the stands in uss is quite pricey.
Meet my new found love, churros! I absolutely love them!! Found them at a stand at the end of the sheltered entrance. It was love at first sight, really. In this case, first taste?
It's absolutely delightful to the tastebuds *_*
We bought about 5-6 sticks and even brought some home afterwards! Eat when it's still hot, 'cos it gets really hard and difficult to bite when it's cold :(
After all the uss craziness, we went to have ichiban sushi for dinner. Sad to say.. It really disappointed me badly. I don't think I'll be going back there to eat any more.
When I ordered the Sashimi Salad, I thought there'll actually be an ARRAY OF DIFFERENT SASHIMIS. What I really got was 3 raw salmon slices and 3 fried salmon. The rest were vegetables. If you can see from the second picture below, the lettuce doesn't even have it's leaves intact. It's damn bare and not even fresh. Horrible taste. Regret so badly.
Anyway, I really had lots of fun at Universal Studios Singapore. I read that there's a Harry Potter one also in Orlando, if I'm not wrong... I wanna go!
I think I won't be going back anytime soon unless it's another free trip (hahahaha why not) or if there're new rides coming in. I might do it for the churros though... :)
