Review: Ciracle Goodbye Blackhead

10:20 PM

I have always been in search for a remedy for this nasty little buggers that never seem to get exhausted from sprouting on my face. It is unsightly, and yet such obviously glaring these irritating dots are. From Biore Blackhead sheets, to Clay Masks, those sticky black substances that you spread over your problem areas, I've tried them all. Unsurprisingly, these blackheads are relentless!

So once again I have been on the prowl for better products to help my skin condition and I have found a new product that I've come to like alot!

It is Ciracle's Goodbye Blackhead.

Unlike the conventional methods of applying a pore strip and removing it around 10-15 mins when it dries, this formula uses a different method. The pore strip method harms the skin that it is ripped off from, which is likely to cause inflammation or tear to our delicate skin. Don't you hate the pain when the pore strip tugs off your skin? It hurts doesn't it :'(.

Inside the container, the cotton sheets are soaked in a liquid which you would then use to apply on your areas with blackheads. They are circular in shape so you can even apply them on your cheeks or forehead.

There's even a tweezer provided for you to take each sheet out!

Apply the sheet on your problem areas for 10-15 mins and ensure it is still moist before removing it.

Then, use a cotton bud to remove the blackheads that have popped up!
If you do have a blackhead extractor, I would recommend you to use that as it is much more effective. But an alternative cheap and quick method is to use the rear end of a bobby pin. It works the same way and is so much more accessible and cheap. I'm sure every girl has one of these babies!

This means lesser pain, and easier blackhead extraction! Since the sebum has risen (when you touch your nose you can feel them prickly), they come off very easily when a bit of pressure is applied.

Comfort:
Not very comfortable since well, it is a wet sheet on your nose. But you do get used to it.

Design:
I like that the sheets can also be placed on other areas besides your nose, like the cheeks, forehead or chin. Imagine placing a nose-shaped sheet there.. Weird o_o. Besides, you can pull the sheets to make it longer so that it can fit your needs too.

Affordability:
It is retailing for $22.90 at BHG in Singapore. When I bought it there was a 20% discount ongoing! If you're lucky you might get even better discounts. Moreover, since there're so many cotton sheets in a container, you are barely paying for each sheet!

Accessibility:
They also sell it online at www.ciracle.sg with free shipping if you want to shop in the comfort of your home. So far, I know that the BHG outlets do sell them. There is one in every part of Singapore so it isn't as inconvenient as going from one end to another. But other than that, it isn't as readily available.

It has worked really well for me so I'll definitely repurchase this again after I'm finished with it. That will take quite some time though... Since there're so many sheets!

Well now you can have a nice clean nose~ Do remember to use it for 2 or no more than 3 times a week and then allow your skin to rest from the extraction as well. I usually apply a clay mask on my nose for 10 minutes followed by a generous amount of aloe vera afterwards. This is so we can close up the pores and cleanse them. The skin will be very delicate so try not to apply other astringent products on areas which it has been used on.

Here's to getting rid of all those pesky blackheads!

xx.
