Rendezvous x Lynn's Coffee & Cakes

2:47 PM

Awhile back the school's Student Union organized an event called the Freshmen Dance Party, which is akin to clubbing but a tuned-down one, it still being a school event and all. No alcohol allowed of course. Nevertheless, it was the perfect excuse to meet my friends again and have unlimited amounts of fun all over again ;)

Their balloons are so simple, but yet chic. I love how the name of this year's FDP, 'Rendezvous' stands out white bolded against the stark black.

The same day itself was Joycelyn's birthday as well. She is such a sweet thing, a source of joy and laughter with her ever eccentric fashion sense and randomness. Thankful for you being my classmate again this semester.

She brought us to this quaint, little café a few bus stops away from school called Lynn's Coffee and Cakes. They served really pretty cakes there and we spent a good sum of time at the counter debating on what we should order... In the end we still decided to get almost one of every anyway, haha.

Also grateful for them tahan-ing the long time I take to get the photos taken while they salivate at the tables with their hungry eyes hahaha. At least it was worth the wait right, guys!! :D

We had caramel crumble, red velvet, carrot cake, oreo cake and chocolate cake (which was extreme chocolatey goodness). I think the caramel one tasted the best! It was also the one I took more bites of heh heh.

Look at those layers omg. It was heaven in da mouth.

The owners are really nice as well! After they heard it was Joyce's birthday they even gave her a free cake to celebrate and sang her a Happy Birthday song. They were such friendly and nice people too. There are still good people out there ya. Love their service! The girl at the counter was also very accommodating to our ever-changing decisions and gave us suggestions to choose from as well.

Although it's small, the place was well-decorated (as any café should be) and pretty for photos.

The cakes were so good and the meatball + fries didn't lose out either. I definitely recommend the place to those who love to indulge in a little pastry once in awhile. The prices are quite reasonable and I do think it was worth their price. Although you may not be able to resist a second slice...

At night, we party till the dawn.
