Words I'd like to say
10:58 PMAugust is going to be a busy month.
Lots of important things cropping up so I hope I'll have better material to post next month!
Today I had Red Camp SL interviews so my attire was more formal than I'd like.
I HOPE I GET IN.
To all students taking the 'O' levels this year,
SIGN UP FOR NGEE ANN POLY'S RED CAMP.
SIGN UP FOR NGEE ANN POLY'S RED CAMP.
I really regret not going last year when it was my turn to...
And when I got to school everyone was discussing about Red Camp and their awesome food + games.
Instead of the usual borrrinnnggg camp food like dabao-ed chicken rice or nasi lemak, Red Camp actually provided Chewy Juniors for the campers to eat for supper.
If you really don't know where you want to go after Secondary School, join the camp to get some knowledge from the seniors and that might better help you make your decision too.
Register early 'cos only a few hundred will be allowed to go for Red Camp! :D
HI MY PRECIOUS.
Most of the things I need to get done by next month concerns someone special... ;)
These food pictures were taken awhile back but still manage to get me hungry every time :D.
Lunch Date with Momma at Grandma's. Our family loves the Nyonya food served there.
It's so goooood, especially dishes with lots of sambal chili.
I have pretty low tolerance towards chili but I always risk it for the good food... Like Sambal Kangkong which no doubt tastes like a slice from heaven.
AND YES PEOPLE,
I CUT MY HAIR SHORT.
Long locks were becoming tiresome and boring to take care of, so I opted for the easier choice...
So far I have no regrets at all!
Short hair is really easy to take care of and it doesn't stick to the back of your shirt when wet :p.
My head doesn't feel as heavy as before too.
Photos of girls with long, glamorous hair on tumblr or pinterest might soon entice me though :(
Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback!
Girls, cutting your hair short is nothing to be afraid of. It's just hair, and hair DOES grow back.
It may take months and years, but it's well worth the wait. Embrace yourself as you are, regardless of your hair!
There're so many brave people, guys and girls alike, who shave their precious hair awhile in support of Hair for Hope too. Although I can never be that brave to go botak, I truly admire these people who are doing it for a good cause. *two thumbs up!!*
If they can, why can't you?
Don't worry about it if your hair hasn't grown to the length you want. Somewhere along the way you might even look back at old pictures and think "I love my hair the way it was back then!"
