Poppin' Cookin' Donut Edition

Here's something I've always wanted to do in a long time...!!
My very first Poppin' Cookin'!
I always found poppin' cooking to be very unreasonably priced. It costs over $10 for a box of play-make food and it isn't even live-sized but more of a food experiment :/. Then again it was super enticing and I couldn't help but want to try it out 'cos the end product were usually really cute! I gave into temptation eventually and bought a box: Donut edition! It looked the cutest so I just went for it.
So here's what's in the box as you can see. Even if you don't know two shit about Japanese, you can still understand what to do 'cos the instructions are extremely clear with illustrations that tell you to put which sachet's contents into which container. Thumbs up!!
Stir stir....
I can't believe I spent around 3 hours on this.
Aesthetic-wise, it is really much better than I expected. I kind of worried that it would turn out bad 'cos I got alittle impatient when it took so long to mix the stuff heh heh. Had to keep measuring the water and ensuring that you didn't pour too much or too little also. Anyway, I'm so glad it turned out alright! I tried my best to decorate it nicely haha. Taste-wise... My donut was really soggy that's all I could say. Made it taste abit weird lol.
But, at least it turned out well for photo taking! Anyway it wasn't very appealing for me since it took a really long time to do and was super tedious. In the end it didn't turn out that good too sigh. So on second thought I don't think I'll be purchasing any more boxes of these to play with. Even if they're cute and all they're not worth it lol, srsly.
