Recently the stress is building up because I'm nearing my final
exams... Though my project datelines are over except for one, I can't
bring myself to rest yet. Its scary how my first year in poly is ending
soon and I'm going to be a second year student in just a few month's
time. I've always been telling myself that I gotta de-stress but seems
like that time won't come anytime soon though. Looking forward so much
to the holidays!
Over the weekends, Dan and I went to town to get his
CNY clothing. I already bought mine online but fingers crossed that
i'll get them before the new year starts. Going shopping is the ultimate
de-stressor for me so I was more than glad to go! Ended up buying some
shirts at a store in 313 where we spent nearly an hour at.
After that we went to the basement of 313 which is a
freaking food galore. All my favourite food outlets like takoyaki and
dongdaemun are there! But instead we went to eat at sushi express which
is located at the left hand corner on the right hand side of the
basement instead. Every plate is at a standard price of $1.50, not
including GST and service tax.
Not exactly satisfactory sushi but at least it filled my appetite... And it's so cheap we just spammed the sushi without thinking about it ;);)
Earlier
then we did a little "photo-shoot" at Punggol Park, which is a very
pretty but under appreciated place. It was packed with families and
gatherings but we managed to find a beautiful spot to take photos at.
Daniel's skills are improving I must say. I don't know why he keeps
saying that he can't or he doesn't know how when he is doing pretty well
already :(
There's always that something that makes pictures pop taking them in places with actual nature. Grasses, mountains or even at the beach. On a normal day, leaves on the floor means pretty much nothing... You'd even think they were out of place. But when you take pictures of them, whoa. The colours burn bright.
Bought these shoes from younghungryfree awhile back and I love them! They fit me so well, although wearing them is quite troublesome because the buckles get stuck sometimes. The shoes fit most of my outfits so well! I think I'm gonna start collecting more of these types of shoes already ;)
Dan got injured for the 3rd/4th time this month. After spraining his right ankle a while back, he sprained his left... You can guess that I'm pretty mad haha. He never learns his lesson and even tells me that he wants to return to playing basketball the week after this. (Are you kidding me?!?!) Guys and their love for sport...
But even still I'm really grateful for him helping me to go around taking pictures although we both know how tired and upset he gets after awhile because he finds it troublesome, sob. But I think we can both agree that the pictures made the tiredness worth it ;)
.
I really look forward to these shoots because the pictures all turn out really pretty. We're thinking of going to different places to do these mini photo-shoots and I hope they'll turn out as successful.
