IT WAS AWESOME.

First of all, the crowd was crazy. Dropped off at Expo MRT station and there was already a mass of people hurling back and forth towards the Expo halls.
We had to cross the road to the AFA event, which was at Expo 7 &8.If we were to lose our hold on each other then we would get separated. Great turnout!

My favourite of the whole event is THE BUTLER CAFE.



I've had this fantasy of mine since watching Ouran High School Host Club.. This is far from it but pretty much the closest!! To have guys waiting on me.. Heehee. It was really nice to be surrounded by so many guys. (HAHA)


We spent alot of time in there and got served by 5 out of the 7 butlers.. Yes, I actually went to count!!.
It's really pricey, but I guess we're paying for both the service and the food.. My chocolate mousse tasted great anyway, so I don't really mind.

I'll talk about my experience..
Jovial & I waited for 1hr30mins (We wanted to see how long waiting would take..) and our guy friend, Mel, came over to join us after 1hr of waiting.. It was really awkward for him..

One of the butlers, Kenta, greeted us in Japanese, "Welcome, goshujin-sama (master.. That's the closest representation I can think of now..) and ojou-sama (Miss) & blabla." He is so shy! Sorry for laughing abit btw, he was so cute mumbling away.. Couldn't really hear everything he said.

THEY ACTUALLY KNEEL DOWN BESIDE YOU!
Their face was less than 15cm away from me. Every single time. Too embarrassed to look at them..
We had Haru, Kenta, Keigo, Shin and Miki (didn't really talk to us though! More about it below.)

I actually liked Shin the most... Feminine looking guys.. (No offense, but he really looks like a cutie, no!?)



Keigo was the friendliest! He did come over and talk to us alot. He's such a tease! We were talking about our favourite butlers and he had this pout. Jo asked, "Did you want us to like you instead?" And he nodded meekly and answered very cutely. (Laughs)
When Keigo was talking to us, Shin suddenly came over!(Haru told on us, issit?!). Darn funny. He knew I liked Shin..

Keigo: *Suddenly stands up* "Ahh.. I'm going to clear the plates first okay?" *Looks and nods towards my left with a smirk*
Me: *Turns* "WOAH!" Shin was kneeling at the opposite side.

Shin kept looking at me with this $%#^&% innocent look. Anyway, his personality really suited his image.. He seems like a quiet and thoughtful person. It was really awkward though, because I had to prompt him to talk! But it was all good in the end.
Funny thing, Miki was standing beside him and he kept bowing repeatedly without saying anything. HAHA! Jo and Mel didn't know what to do so they kept bowing and bowing back. It was a very funny, awkward atmosphere.


Haru was more of a gentleman, asking polite questions like "Is this your first time here?" etc.



In the end, we chose to take a photo with Keigo, since we felt he was the best to us that day!
My first impression of him wasn't really well, because he scared me by accident.. But the interaction was Great! He's the one I liked the most at the end of the session.

Keigo: "Let's do the Moe Moe!" *Does pose in the picture*
Jo & I: ?! "What Moe pose?!" "Errrrr.... Peace!"

So.. my heels killed me at the end of the day. FML, couldn't even tiptoe without my feet hurting.










"Whaaat?! AFA is over?"

As you can see, this year's one was really a blast! Made me really want to try out cosplaying even.
Really looking forward to next year's AFA!!
