I realised that turning 17 isn't really such a big deal, it's just another chapter in my life that I've managed to pass.
So there was really nothing special about it, HAHA.
Unexpectedly, my brother was the first one to wish me a happy birthday.. AND HE BOUGHT ME DONUTS! HAHAHA. That's like the 2nd present he has ever given me so far.
Nothing much, but I'm thankful.. At least he gave me something (finally!!), I didn't expect him to, like the other years.. Thanks bro!
Had a little celebration with Dan..
He wanted to go to Wild Wild Wet, and then the Zoo... No way man. I was dressed up already! Sorry
He surprised me with a bouquet of flowers!! My first, actually. Told him not to because I am really against the idea of flowers dying after a few days..;( . But I'm really touched still..
I look quite tired in the photos because I was having pretty bad flu that day..
It was so horrible that I spent most of my time sneezing my lungs out or holding my nose with a tissue. T___T
Spent the later half of the day at the crib spamming photos on the ipad.
I have toooooons more, like 80 over, but I'm so lazy to edit..
Simple birthday celebration afterwards.
The cake was supposed to be a Swensens' icecream one but the voucher expired... Like last month. In the end the kind staff there said they'll give us another, but we had to wait about 2 weeks.. By then the cake would've been meaningless already since my birthday has passed.
So we went to find a cake at a random bakery store near the house and this was it.
That awkward feeling when people sing you a birthday song and you just stand there not knowing what to do....HAHAHA..

After I wrote that, I actually thought about the 2013 thing. We've had so many scares over the years about the end of the world(s) and to add on to that there was that 2012 movie. (Which I watched and got freaked out)
STOP THINKING ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD BUT LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST INSTEAD!
Personally, I don't believe that it will be the end of the world. God will decide! So stop worrying.

For the past few years, I've had many regrets about things.
I've always wanted to try joining contests, cosplaying, try out new things and increase my experiences.. But I never managed to do so because of so many excuses.. How deeply I regret it now.
Sometimes I tell myself to go for it, but in the end I'll falter and throw those thoughts away.
Thinking about all these now, I really wish I can tell my past self to buck up and use that hidden confidence. Perhaps life would've been different now.
So nowadays I'm pushing myself to do things that I would've never done before!! This period before the start of school next year, I'll be trying as many things as possible..
Are there any cosplay events coming up? Maybe I'll get a couple of friends to go ahead with the idea. (Can't wait!)
