Battling the bugs
7:19 PMDecember hasn't been a very nice month to me..
I've been sick the most times compared to any other month in the year T-T.
Fever, throat infection, ulcers, cough, flu (those that make me really, really drowsy), food poisoning, heartburn.. I've gone through all of these and many others just in the month.
It sucks because December is one of the best months for me, especially since it's my birthday month! I was sick even on the day itself and pictures of me came out looking really bad... like I haven't slept in days.
But I still went ahead with eating ice-cream of course.. (Self-restrain is pretty hard).
Momma just brought back a Swensens ice-cream cake (long overdue, but still..) for a late birthday cake but I can't eat it yet because I'm STILL SICK! That sucks because I really want to try it since it's mango flavoured..
There were times when it got so bad, I felt like giving up. All along, I thought physical pain was easier to overcome as compared to mental pain... Because you couldn't cure what's not caused by an injury.. But now I know it could be much much worse than that (trust me.)
Thank God I had so many wonderful people beside me who took care of me when I was at my worst (and definitely, weakest.. very much akin to writhing in agony).
With the fluctuating weather, here's a reminder to everyone to take care of your health! It's been raining one minute and the other, scorching hot..
I definitely want to celebrate the end of the year and the start of 2013 with a BANG! Not lying in bed with a thermometer stuck in my mouth :(
Make sure to drink plenty of water.
It'll keep you hydrated when the water's warm and humid.
Water is an absolute staple in every diet. I prefer skipping the soda and drinking water instead as it makes me feel much healthier than a temporary sugar rush.

Always keep a bottle of water close by to avoid the dizzy spells!
Keep a jacket or sweater close by.
This is to keep you warm when it's cold outside! Never be too kiasu to bring one out even if the weather is really sunny at first because the weather is quite unpredictable nowadays. Cold winds and exposure to rain are the easiest ways to get the flu bugs.
Have some pills on hand in case of emergency.
You'll never know when you might catch a bout of the flu or encounter migraines. Keep some medicines stashed close by so that you can pop them and get well in a jiffy. Don't over-eat though! Please see a doctor and adhere to the medical prescription given.
Let's fight against the illnesses and keep ourselves healthy for the new year!Right now, I'm praying hard that I'll be sick-free for the rest of the month (..3 days left). I'll be happy enough, really!
Remember to take care of yourselves everyone ;)
&I'll soon be posting about the Dollywink products that I've gotten recently! Tried the eyelashes and I'm mad in love with them already.
